Poet widely published in magazines and anthologies, she has lived for over twenty years on the antique island of St.Giulio, Lake Orta, in the foothills of the Italian Alps. 

Gabriel is also the creator and organiser of the annual Poetry on the Lake events. She edits an annual anthology of poems from the spring competition.
